Challenge

Plastic steel formwork is applied in canal projects mainly for **canal lining, canal slope protection, cast-in-place concrete structures of canal bottom and canal body**. It is used for concrete casting of hydraulic channels including main irrigation canals, drainage canals and river diversion channels, applicable to canal retaining walls, canal slope frame beams, channel side ditches and other parts.

Our Solution

Plastic steel formwork is suitable for cast-in-place concrete construction of canals. The lightweight panels can be manually carried and assembled by workers on canal slopes without heavy lifting equipment. The formwork is water-resistant and corrosion-resistant, adapting to the long-term water exposure conditions of canals. Its smooth forming surface delivers flat and clean concrete on canal walls and bottoms after pouring, and no plastering is required after demoulding. Modular panels can flexibly fit canals of different cross-sections. The formwork resists deformation during concrete pouring to ensure accurate component dimensions. It can be reused many times to reduce the overall cost of hydraulic projects.
