Challenge

This project is a mountain slope protection project adopting cast-in-place concrete diamond frame beams to reinforce the slope surface and prevent soil erosion and landslides. The working space on the slope is limited. Traditional steel formwork is heavy, making hoisting on the slope difficult and inefficient. Plastic steel formwork is adopted in this project as the mould for cast-in-place frame beams.

Our Solution

Plastic steel formwork was adopted as the mould for the cast-in-place frame beams, addressing the limited working space and difficult hoisting conditions on the slope.

01

Lightweight design for slope construction

Plastic steel formwork is lightweight. Workers can manually carry and assemble panels on site. No crane hoisting is required on the slope. For hillside working surfaces, heavy machinery is not needed. The diamond grid formwork can be quickly assembled on the slope, greatly reducing the construction difficulty of high-altitude slope work, shortening the formwork erection period and accelerating the overall construction progress.

02

Excellent forming effect to reduce follow-up procedures

The surface of plastic steel formwork is dense and smooth. After concrete pouring and forming, the surface of frame beams is flat and clean. No additional plastering and levelling are needed after demoulding, which saves materials and labour costs for secondary plastering.

03

Flexible on-site assembly to fit various frame shapes

It can be flexibly assembled into various slope protection frame shapes such as diamond and herringbone. Modular panels are easy to combine, suitable for irregular inclined grid structures like slope frame beams. The formwork features good toughness, resists deformation during concrete pouring, delivers straight formed lines and ensures stable dimensions of slope protection structures.

04

Corrosion-resistant plastic steel formwork

It resists rust under long-term exposure to sunlight and rain on open-air slopes. It can be reused for multiple cycles with convenient demoulding and less damage during stripping. Its comprehensive cost is lower than that of steel formwork.
